Publica and Beet.TV partner with new CTV series.
This week, Publica & Beet TV launched a series of video interviews with leaders from the CTV advertising industry such as Discovery, Dish, A&E, LiveRamp and many more to talk about the growing AVOD ecosystem and the advertising technology that is supporting it.
We decided to produce this series called ‘Making CTV Happen‘ after Ben our CPO & Co-Founder was recently asked by Beet.TV to speak about the programmatic CTV landscape.
Although the Q&A was brief, it generated a lot of inbound interest & questions about a wide range of topics such as CTV ad serving right through to best practices when it comes to OTT header bidding. This is why we felt there was a need for a dedicated series speaking only to the issues that are driving advertising revenues for streaming publishers in 2021, the year that DSP The Trade Desk predicts 27% of T.V viewers will be ‘cutting the cord‘.
This is Bens interview on Beet.TV talking about everything from programmatic SSAI for CTV publishers right through to advanced ad pod management and how it is possible to deliver a linear like TV advertising experience to viewers when watching AVOD content.
We have launched our series with Publica partner LiveRamp as we believe 1st & 3rd party data will sit at the centre of streaming publishers monetization strategies this year. The first in our series is with Jay Prasad, Chief Strategy Officer for TV at LiveRamp who explains that after fast CTV growth, some development is still needed when it comes to standards & advertising infrastructure to support data driven advertising on AVOD streaming services.
Jay goes on to explain how brands, advertising agencies & their DSPs are all going to be looking for CTV deals that are enriched with the audience insights that give them the confidence they are reaching the right viewers within CTV. Jay also provides some insights around walled gardens in CTV and why the interoperability of CTV data & identity is so important for the growth of the ad funded streaming industry this year.
To watch all of the videos in our ‘Making CTV Happen’ series, you can watch them as they are released here over the next several weeks. They will also be published via the Beet.TV & Publica twitter accounts.
